What are Avenía's hours of operation?
Avenía's hours of operation are as follows: Monday - Friday 9 am - 6 pm, Saturday 10 am - 5 pm, Sunday Closed. We encourage all brides to schedule an appointment with a bridal consultant. For fittings or custom design consultations, an appointment is required. Please note that with advanced notice, special appointments outside of standard hours of operation can be arranged. Avenía is pleased to provide you with the personal yet professional service characteristic of fine couture establishments and bridal boutiques. Our bridal consultants are trained to assist you in the design, selection, alteration and customization of your wedding gown-and the selection of complementary accessories. To stay on top of bridal fashion and trends, Avenía bridal consultants travel frequently to New York and other locations where they carefully select couture lines to feature in our boutique. Can Avenía design or customize a gown to my unique style preferences or religious and cultural considerations?
An essential part of the
Avenía experience is tailoring designer gowns to your unique shape, style and specifications.
Avenía brides frequently request that a gown be
altered or customized to accommodate religious or cultural considerations. Our designers have years of experience customizing designer gowns and creating original couture gowns that elegantly conform to Jewish, Muslim and other religious or cultural dress standards. Given our location, we frequently serve Latter-Day Saint (LDS) or Mormon brides requesting temple-ready or 'modest' alterations or creations. Several of the designers we carry will customize their gowns with shoulders and sleeves, which eliminates alteration lines. With all other collections we carry, we have made arrangements with the designer to source original fabrics, thereby enabling our seamstresses to retain and accentuate the elegance and artistry of your gown.

Are all gowns on Aveníabridal.com available in the boutique?
Avenía makes every attempt to update our website with the latest fashions and accessories. Unfortunately, not all gowns or accessories displayed on the website may be available at the time of your call or appointment. We encourage you to
call us with any questions or to check on the availability of a particular gown or accessory. A bridal consultant can discuss with you your style, vision, budget, location and any cultural or religious considerations so she can assist you in either finding or designing the perfect wedding gown.

What are Avenía's payment terms?
Avenía Bridal follows accepted payment terms for most bridal boutiques: We require a 50% deposit plus tax on the total order at the time of purchase. Regretfully, no order, once accepted by a manufacturer in the case of a special order, or initiated by a seamstress in the case of an alteration or custom tailored gown, can be cancelled. Payment in full is required at the time of sale for all accessories. Once the deposit has been paid, no credits, refunds, or exchanges may be made. In the case of special orders, once your gown has arrived, payment in full is required before we can begin alterations. In the case of custom gowns, final payment is due at the final fitting. No exceptions can be made. Avenía Bridal will attempt to provide orders as close to the due date as possible. The Customer approves the size and color of gown, as written on the order. With the exception of custom gowns, there will be an additional fee for all alterations. The customer is responsible for any cleaning fee associated with the purchase of a sample gown (gown purchased directly from stock).

What should I know about silk or natural fabric gowns?
Many of our Bridal gowns are constructed in fine silks, woven as satins, taffetas, doupionis, crepes, and chiffons. Nothing flows more elegantly, shimmers more beautifully, yet weighs so lightly on the body as silk. Avenía selects designer gowns made only of the finest silk and natural fabrics, and with alterations and customizations we give careful attention to the hand-sewn details that give your gown its heirloom quality. With the nature of silk and natural fabrics, especially silk satin, silk shantung, dupioni, and silk charmeuse, occasional nubbing, gentle shadings and slight imperfections are characteristic of fine yarns used and should not be regarded as flaws in the fabric. These characteristics are what give the fabric its beauty and natural luster and no discounts, adjustments or refunds will be given. Special care should be taken in the handling and treatment of your gown to preserve its integrity and to protect it from potentially tarnishing substances such as make-up (face or body), tanning solutions/ lotions and stain-free deodorant. Our bridal consultants will advise you on the proper care and keeping of your gown.

Will Avenía press my dress?
Avenía presses all gowns just prior to scheduled pick up as a courtesy to our customers. We press the gown only after alterations are completed in an attempt to handle the gown as little as possible so that it remains in pristine condition for the wedding.

How long will Avenía hold my gown?
Avenía recommends that you pick up your gown as soon as it is completed. We recognize, however, that that may not be possible. As an added convenience, Avenía will hold your gown until the original wedding date provided at the time of order for no additional charge. Should your wedding be postponed or canceled, you will have thirty (30) days from the original wedding date to pay the balance in full and pick-up your gown. Avenía cannot be held liable for gowns or merchandise left longer than thirty (30) days from the original wedding date. Any merchandise not picked up by thirty (30) days after the original wedding date will be considered abandoned and become property of Avenía. No compensation will be provided.
